The Tata Tiago, Tata Motors basic entry-level car, evolved greatly over the years. Launched on April 6, 2016. It completed its 9 years in the passenger car lineup and crossed the 6 lakh units sales milestone in November 2024. Being known for its 4-star Global NCAP safety rating, it has proven itself over time. Why it’s been India’s favourite. Completely dominating its competitors (WagonR, Kwind, and Santro) in terms of safety, reliability, and efficiency. The 2025 Tata Tiago, Tiago EV, and Tigor have been launched with several exterior and interior changes. After a 5.88% decrease in sales of the Tiago last month (December 2024), Tata has finally decided to revise the exterior design and add new interior bits to draw the customers interest. The new add-ons made to the exterior are not easily noticeable, but interior changes have given the car a complete modern makeover. Tata Tiago 2025 – What’s New?
2025 Tata Tiago Exterior Changes
There are minimal changes in the exterior of the 2025 Tata Tiago.
The old headlight has been replaced with a new LED headlight. Though it is similar to the old headlight in shape and size, it has got new internal components to improve the headlight beam.
The Tata Tiago 2024 front bumper grille has been replaced with a new improved grille with chrome inserts.
Fog lamps have been replaced, and LED DRLs have been added.
The old antenna has been replaced with a shark fin antenna.
A dual-tone roof as an option has been added.
No changes have been made with the alloy wheel; it is the same one that was offered in the Tata Tiago 2024 model.
2025 Tata Tiago Interior Changes
Extensive changes have been made to this vehicle to give it a modern look.
A new steering wheel with steering-mounted audio and phone control has been added. similar to one that comes in the Tata Harrier and Safari.
TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and cruise control have been added.
The old infotainment system has been replaced by a 26.03 cm touch screen display, which provides wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Keyless entry, engine start/stop, and a 360-degree camera option are available in the top variant of the 2025 Tata Tigor.
USB Type A & C charging ports are added.
2025 Tata Tiago Performance Upgrades
No change has been made on the powertrain side. The Tata Tiago 2025 has the same engine that was offered in the 2024 Tata Tiago.
2025 The Tata Tiago is offered with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which also comes with a CNG option.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine mated with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission produces around 84 BHP and 113 Nm torque.
The 1.2-litre CNG version with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission produces around 72 BHP and 95 Nm of torque.
The Tata Tiago EV comes with two range options: medium and long range.
The medium-range version provides a range of 250 km and produces around 60 bhp and 110 Nm of torque.
The long-range version provides a range of 315 km and produces around 74 bhp and 117 Nm of torque.

- Tata is well known for its vehicle safety standards. Tata Tiago has an energy-absorbing body structure that absorbs the impact and doesn’t let it pass through the firewall and A-pillars. For keeping the driver and passengers extra safe, there are two front airbags.
